Dress Code Clarifications for 2016-2017 School Year

I know that knowing this before the summer begins will help in planning for the next year.

  1. Student’s hair must be groomed in such a manner that it will not draw undue attention.  NO MOHAWKS OR UNEVEN HAIRSTYLES.  NO DUCKTAILS.
  2. Faces must be kept neat. NO MAKEUP
  3. On jean days, students may wear blue denim shorts (appropriate length) or pants—no tears or holes
  4. Shorts must be an appropriate length.
  5. SOCKS MUST BE WORN.
  6. ALL SHOES MUST BE CLOSED-IN and comfortable for running and jumping.
  7. NO DANGLING OR BLING-BLINGING EARRINGS; NO FAKE FINGERNAILS
  8. Coats, hoodies, and sweaters will not be allowed outside when the temperature is hot.
  9. BELTS MUST BE WORN.  IF BELT LOOPS ARE CUT OFF, A BELT MUST STILL BE WORN BECAUSE THAT SORT OF PANTS IS MADE TO BE BELTED.
